26 SepNEW: wooden stairs FLY.
Two-layer parquet
is without a doubt the most appropriate for surfaces with underfloor heating. Not
appropriate are the parquets with the upper layer made of beech, Canadian maple, jatoba
and olive.
Two-layer parquet consists of smaller battens with ploughed-and-tongued joints on all four sides.
The parquet consists of two wood layers. The foundation can be a connecting plate, HDF plate or
elements of spruce, birch, hevea or poplar. The upper layer is a 3.5 – 6 mm first-class wood layer.
The surface is already treated; grinded and 6 – 7 times painted or UV oil coated.
Two-layer parquet is glued on the floor therefore we recommend professional parqueting. It has to be
mounted very carefully on the surfaces with underfloor heating following the instructions precisely
including the heating regime before, during and after the mounting.
